How I Increased my Low Engagement on Instagram

Tell me if you can relate to this: I had no inspiration, my engagement was at an all time low and I was losing followers.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here is 5 shifts I made to turn things around ⬇️

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⚡I started showing up. Let’s get real- life gets busy and sometimes shit falls through the cracks. That's what happened to me and Instagram. As soon as I made the time to post consistently again, things started to turn around.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⚡I started posting intentionally. Showing up is only step one. Remembering my purpose for being here in the first place and staying true to that was step two!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⚡I started creating content that inspired me. I dusted off my camera, met up with some other creators and had fun with it!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⚡ I got active on stories. Instead of only living in a static post, I made an effort to share more of my daily life and thoughts on stories. Posting daily & multiple times throughout the day doubled my engagement in just one week.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⚡️ I shifted my mindset. Instead of thinking about posting as something I had to do in order to stay relevant (cause you know, IG algorithm) I started thinking about it as something I wanted to do because there was something I wanted to share! Changing my mindset took the “chore” out of posting content.

If you kept reading because you can relate to all the things I was feeling a few months ago, I highly encourage you to try incorporating these shifts into your content approach to see how they help you!
